Community & Gatherings
Events & Gatherings
Come and be with us. We welcome supporters, friends, and the broader Anabaptist community to share in the life of the ministry.
Upcoming Events
All are welcome. Our gatherings are open to supporters, prayer partners, and the Anabaptist community near and far.
Spring Renewal Retreat
A one-day retreat for women in the community centered on renewal, prayer, and the Word. This gathering is open to women ages 18 and up from the Anabaptist community. Light lunch will be provided. Space is limited, so please contact us to reserve your place.
Monthly Prayer Gathering
Every second Saturday of the month, we invite prayer partners to gather with us for an hour of intercession for the ministry, for residents, and for the broader work of healing and discipleship in our community. Quiet, reverent, and deeply rooted in Scripture.
A note about our gatherings: Stories Made New events are open to supporters, prayer partners, and the broader Anabaptist community. If you plan to attend, we kindly ask that you reach out in advance so we can prepare well for you.
Past Gatherings
A look back at gatherings from the past year.
Harvest Thankfulness Evening
Residents, staff, and supporters gathered around long tables for a harvest meal and a time of shared testimony and gratitude. The evening included music, Scripture reading, and prayer for the ministry's second year.
Supporters Open Day
An afternoon open to ministry partners and donors, with a chance to tour the property, meet the residents (those who wished to be present), and hear directly from Ernest and Yvonne about the progress of the first full year of the residency program.
Ministry Launch Gathering
Friends, family, church leaders, and community members gathered at the Farmersville Road property to mark the official opening of the Stories Made New residential program with prayer, song, and a blessing over the home and those who would live and serve within it.
